Position Description

Director of Operations Analysis / Originations Management
Location: Plano TX (Dallas)

The Director of Operations Analysis / Originations Management will lead a team of analysts supporting Capital One's Mortgage Originations Management area.This Directorwill be responsible for areas of accountability supporting strategic goals with partnered stakeholders and manage execution of these priorities by overcoming obstacles and delivering results. The Director will also lead analysts, process managers and/or project managers to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and to integrate broad business knowledge and analytical insight in developing recommendations and creating solutions to improve current processes.

Responsibilities:

Define strategies and set priorities by partnering with business leaders to meet shared goals.

Accountable for managing various processes such as analysis and reporting and service level agreements and finding solutions to troubleshoot issues and process breakdowns in core business function.

Lead the planning and execution of process improvements and organizational change management

Develop and motivateanalysts and project/process managers

Manage up to 5 people

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in quantitative field such as finance, accounting, mathematics or engineering

4 Years experience analyzing and optimizing processes

5 Years experience in Operations / Business Analysis / Strategic Planning

2 Years experience in People Management

2 Years experience in Process Management and Improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or quantitative field such as finance, engineering, accounting or math

Project Management Certification, Six Sigma

5 Years experience in Operations / Business Analysis / Strategic Planning

5 Years experience in People Management

5 Years experience in Process Management and Improvement
